1: C35 Steel Introduction
C35 is a medium carbon steel, one of the most widely used steels for mechanical parts. Excellent forgeability. Special variants are available for cold drawing. Due to the carbon content, preheating and post-heating are required during welding. A wide range of mechanical properties can be obtained by quenching and tempering.

7: C35 Steel Application
C35 is suitable for parts in vehicle manufacturing, engine and machine engineering with a little higher strength requirements and still low ductility requirements (e.g. gears, bolts, clutch parts).
