1: 18CrNiMo7-6 Steel Introduction
18CrNiMo7-6 structural steel is a widely used alloy structural steel in Europe with high flexural strength and wear resistance. The heart of this steel also has high hardness and toughness, resulting in high overall mechanical properties. Its chemical composition includes the elements carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, with specific contents ranging from 0.15% to 0.21% of other elements.

7: 18CrNiMo7-6 Steel Application
18CrNiMo7-6 is widely used in the machinery manufacturing industry, especially in the field of manufacturing large gears, transmission shafts, turbine shafts and other high-load and high-speed working parts. The alloy steel has good wear resistance and impact resistance, and can meet the requirements of use in a variety of complex working conditions.
8: 18CrNiMo7-6 Steel Heat Treatment
Hot Forging Temperature: To be carried out between 1150°C and 1150°C to ensure that the material has good plasticity and uniform heating.
Annealing treatment: Annealing temperatures range from 650°C to 700°C. This step helps to reduce the hardness of the material and improve its plasticity and toughness.
Carburizing treatment: Carburizing temperatures range between 880°C and 980°C. This process increases the carbon content on the surface of the steel part, thus improving its hardness and wear resistance.
Hardening treatment: It consists of two stages, i.e., Hardening I (heart hardening) is carried out at 830°C to 870°C and Hardening II (surface hardening) is carried out at 780°C to 820°C, usually using oil as the cooling medium.
Tempering treatment: Tempering is carried out at temperatures between 150°C and 200°C. Tempering is done to stabilize the material and reduce internal stresses generated during heat treatment.

10: Delivery Condition
For hot forged or hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/QT, rough turned/Black surface or hot rolled, annealed/QT, Black surface.
For hot forged block or hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/QT, milled surface/Black surface or hot rolled, annealed/QT, black surface.
For cold drawn bar, usually the delivery condition is cold drawn, annealed/QT, peeled/black surface.
