7: DIN 1.2343 Steel Application
Plastic Mold Field: 1.2343 die steel is widely used in the manufacture of various plastic molds, such as injection molds, blow molds, extrusion molds and so on. These molds need to withstand high temperature and high pressure working environment, and 1.2343 die steel's excellent wear resistance and thermal stability makes it an ideal choice for plastic mold manufacturing.
Automobile Manufacturing Field: 1.2343 die steel is also widely used in automobile manufacturing field, such as manufacturing automobile engine block, cylinder head, crankcase and other key parts of the mold. These molds need to withstand high temperatures, high pressures and high-speed operation of the working environment, and 1.2343 die steel's high wear resistance and high toughness can meet these requirements.
Die Casting Molds, Forging Molds, Rubber Molds and Other Fields: 1.2343 die steel is also widely used in die casting molds, forging molds, rubber molds and other fields. Its excellent wear resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance and other characteristics, so that it can adapt to a variety of complex working environment, for the development of the manufacturing industry to provide strong support.
8: DIN 1.2343 Steel Heat Treatment
Forging
This step is designed to improve the organization and properties of the material by reshaping the metallic material through the application of pressure in order to eliminate internal defects and to improve the material's densities and mechanical properties.
Soft Annealing
Carried out at a temperature of 1050-850°C, the purpose is to reduce the hardness and improve the plasticity and toughness in preparation for subsequent processing.
Hardening
Carried out at a temperature of 1000-1030°C to increase the hardness and strength of the material by rapid cooling (e.g. water or oil cooling).
Tempering
Carried out at a temperature of 530-680°C to adjust the balance between the hardness and toughness of the material, reduce the internal stresses generated during hardening, and prevent deformation and cracking.
