SKS43 steel is used for Japanese alloy cutting tools and commonly used for impact tools. The steel has high hardness and good wear resistance.Tool steel has a relatively high hardness and a red hardness which can maintain a high hardness at a high temperature.

7: L2 Steel Application
AISI L2 is the steel used to manufacture cutting tools, gauges, dies and wear tools.
8: L2 Steel Heat Treatment
Hot-working treatment : 800-1020 ℃
Quenching : 760-780 ℃. Water cooling, wate-oil double liquid cooling or alkali bath colling.
Hardness after quenching : 60 HRCHardness after tempering.
