1: C105W1 Steel Introduction
C105W1 is a common carbon tool steel with moderate toughness. After heat treatment, the hardness can reach above 60HRC. However, the hardenability of this steel is low. And poor heat resistance, not easy to overheat during quenching and heating, still maintain fine grains. The toughness is good, the strength and wear resistance are higher, but the heat hardness is low, the hardenability is still not high, and the quenching deformation is large.

C105W1 is suitable for manufacturing various tools with poor cutting conditions, high wear resistance requirements, and no sudden and violent shock vibration, which requires certain toughness and sharp cutting edges. Such as turning tool, planer tool, drill bit, tap, reaming tool, screw die, milling cutter, hand saw blade, cold upsetting die, die, wire drawing die, cold extrusion die for aluminum alloy, paper blanking die, plastic forming die, small size cold cutting die and punching die, measuring tools with low precision and simple shape (such as card plate, etc.) can also be used as wear-resistant parts without large impact.
