1: 1.2367 Steel Introduction
1.2367 Die Steel is a hot work tool steel with high strength and high temperature wear resistance, good temper resistance, high hardenability and toughness. This steel can be water-cooled and has a good macro and microstructure, low degree of segregation, excellent polishability, good thermal conductivity, high dimensional stability during heat treatment, good machinability, and high working hardness for extended service life.

7: 1.2367 Steel Application
1.2367 mold steel is widely used in various demanding application scenarios due to its excellent properties. For example, it can be used in light alloy pressure casting dies, die casting dies (including die nuts, inserts, upper dies, nozzles, nitrided ejector pins, and sleeves), die nuts and inserts in steel forging and forming, extrusion dies, extrusion dies (including die daggers, backing plates, bushings, and extrusion pads), heavy alloy die supports and inner guide bushings, hot pressing dies (aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloys), heavy and light alloy pressure forming dies, plastic molds ( injection molds), as well as components such as heavy-duty cold shears, drop hot shears, tightening rings, and wear parts.
8: 1.2367 Steel Heat Treatment
Heating: Heat the 1.2367 steel to the appropriate temperature range. Typically, the heating temperature is between 950°C and 1050°C.
Holding: The heating temperature is maintained for a period of time to ensure uniform heating of the steel and to allow recrystallization of the grains.
Cooling: Rapid cooling of the steel from the heating temperature to room temperature. This can be achieved by different methods, such as water quenching, oil quenching or air cooling.
Tempering: The cooled steel is tempered to reduce the stresses and hardness caused by rapid cooling. The tempering temperature and time are adjusted according to the desired final properties.
Final cooling: Finally, the tempered steel is cooled from the tempering temperature to room temperature.

10: Delivery Condition
For hot forged bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/QT, rough turned/Black surface.
For hot rolled bar, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed/QT, Black surface.
For Cold Drawn bar, usually the delivery condtion is cold drawn, annealed/QT, peeled/black surface.
For hot rolled plate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, milled/black surface.
For hot forged plate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, normalized/annealed, milled/black surface.
