1: 1.2631 Steel Introduction

8: 1.2631 Steel Heat Treatment
Hot Working Treatment:
1.2631 The hot working specification of mold steel includes heating temperature, holding time and cooling method. Specific hot working specifications should be operated according to the manufacturer's requirements.
Soft Annealing Specifications:
In order to soften 1.2631 die steel, it should be heated to 790℃-840℃ and kept for a certain time. Then it should be cooled by appropriate cooling method to obtain the best softening effect. The specific parameters of the softening and annealing specification should be operated according to the manufacturer's requirements.
Hardening And Tempering:
Quenching is a critical step in strengthening and hardening 1.2631 die steel. The steel is heated to 830°C-870°C, held for a period of time and then quenched in oil or air. Tempering is to adjust the hardness and toughness of the steel, usually immediately after quenching and tempering treatment, the temperature is 480 ℃ -540 ℃, keep a certain period of time after cooling to room temperature. Specific quenching and tempering specifications should be operated according to the manufacturer's requirements.

10: Delivery Condition
For hot forged bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/QT, rough turned/Black surface.
